Terms of Service

Last updated 4 July 2026

This is a plain-English template for the TradeHQ MVP. Have it reviewed by a solicitor before you take on paying customers.

1. The agreement

These terms govern your use of TradeHQ. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you're using TradeHQ on behalf of a business, you confirm you're authorised to do so.

2. The service

TradeHQ provides software to manage jobs, quotes, scheduling, invoicing and payments. We work hard to keep it available and accurate, but it's provided on an “as is” basis and we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, including tax and VAT treatment on your own invoices.

3. Trials, plans & billing

  • Free trials run for the stated period with no obligation.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance per your chosen plan and seat count.
  • Prices are shown exclusive of VAT, which is added where applicable.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or agreed in writing.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — no unlawful activity, no attempts to breach security, no reselling access without permission, and no uploading of content you don't have the right to store. We may suspend accounts that put the platform or other users at risk.

5. Your data

You own the data you put into TradeHQ. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or request deletion of your data at any time.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TradeHQ is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or business arising from use of the service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

7. Changes & termination

We may update these terms and will note the date above; continued use means you accept the changes. Either of us may end the agreement — you by cancelling, us with reasonable notice or immediately for a serious breach.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. Questions? Email hello@tradehq.ie.
